The Bells of the Chicago Park District

See the Deagan tubular bells in the Waveland Field House and Clock Tower in this marvelous video made by Chicago Revealed. This gem of a building is located in one of the premiere lakefront parks in Chicago.

I don’t have much to add to this video, other than that the Massachusetts carillon that inspired Annie Wolford’s bequest is in Stockbridge. It’s a shame that the bells are in disrepair again, especially after the dedicated efforts of Curt Mangel, Chuck Askins, and Robert Boin in the late 80s and early 90s. Who’s with me to bring it back?
